Seenu Atoll School Started English week on last Sunday and still the programs are going on. For the English week, Seenu Atoll School E L A had planed lot of activities that will help to improve their skills as well the knowledge. According to ELA planes for the week yesterday they had Allocution. It was held last evening 4:30 at Seenu Atoll School hall. The hall was prepared well and Seenu Atoll School website found that there was no support for the program by the students.
We got the information by ELA that around 25 students participated in the program. But our team found that around 10 of them attended and performed in the program. Also this was the first stage event of the ELA Programs 2009. As this was a stage event we expected there will be audience to give support. But it was upside down. The audience was the chairs and supporters were few participants attended. Others who come to school was roaming around the school.
We the team found that students are not serious while they are performing in the stage. They were laughing in front of the podium.
The first prize was won by Aishath Shaadin of Grade 10. Form grade 10, First prize from grade 9 won by Aminath dhunya of grade 9 B and first prize from grade 8 was won by Nazaahth Ibrshim Rsheedh of grade 8B.
ELA announced that they have planned a prepared speech on Saturday and also a debate between Commerce students and Science students.
even if the school organises such acedamic activities, we should sadly say that we did not get any support from the student.
So I advice all the students to take part in such kind of activities.
